Eric
If I have specimens that are received in the Sunquest system BEFORE their collection time, the specimen does not show up on OL monitor screen.
For example if I have a CBC marked as collected in Sunquest at 0600 but received in the lab at 0545, the specimen does not first show up on OL MOnitor until 0601 and says process time is 16 mins.
We use an automation line and receive the specimens on the line so the collection times are not updated in Sunquest when receieved-they default to the time the nurse wants the blood draw.
Is there a change I can make in OL MOnitor to fix this so those specimens come up on OL Monitor based on received time?

My first thought is that they might not be showing if you have 'collecteds only' selected under misc options. But it's probably not that simple. We need to find out if the tests are showing up on the Overdue log at all, if they are I can fix it.
If you click Help-Locate Olprocesslog, it should open the folder with the captured overdue logs. They are named 'Test.tx1, Test.tx2' etc.
Open up one of these in notepad and search for one of your missing tests.
If you're able to find it I'll need a problem report or at least a sample of what these tests look like, you could just cut and paste the test line into an email.
For info on sending a problem report, proceed to step 3A on the troubleshooting page:
http://www.olmonitor.com/support.html
Let me know what you find out. |
