Good Afternoon to all. I am really new to this OL monitor thing. I just found out that a roadblock is that my hospital IT department is migrating all of the PCs to Windows 7 with 62 bit. I was wondering what is the status for Win 7? |

(Hi L, I tried sending you an email but it was bounced, posting here in case you do not get the one I just sent.)
I did see your question on the forum and intended to reply, but I was waiting to hear back from Sean. He had an issue on a Win 7 test machine and I made several changes that I think would fix the problem. I am not sure if the issue was related to Win 7 or not. I emailed him the updated version yesterday but he probably hasn't had time to check it.
I have tested it on my test pc's with Win 7 and Win 7 64 and didn't have any issues. If you would like to test it out on your Win 7 pc that would be very informative. Contact me for the link to download, the version is 1.78. You can check which version you have in Ol Monitor by clicking Help-Version. |

(Note: Posting date is off by one day actual date is 5/14/2012) Just wanted all to know that We (Lab tech and IT tech) have a Windows 7 64 bit machine up and running OL Monitor. I have not tried all of the bells and whistles, but the basic package seems to work just fine. Next job is to figure out some filters with colors, to keep the lab techs jazzed. |
